Amy Duke’s paintings evoke the many facets of her life: a quintessential childhood in New England, a successful career in the fashion and design industries of New York and Atlanta and the journey of raising a family in the modern South. These influences share a common thread through out her work and each painting connects you to the fleeting beauty of a moment, a memory and nature.
Amy’s artistic endeavors began at an early age at the side of her grandfather, Edwin Eberman, whose watercolors depicted a life rich with family and travel. This informal training combined with her fine arts education at Hollins University led Amy to pursue her passion.
Painting in oil and acrylics, Amy’s paintings are prominently displayed in fine homes though out the United States. Her works are available through two Atlanta home décor shops, art auctions and by commission.
“I am drawn to contrast the ever-changing coastal and rural landscapes against the constancy of the horizon line.”
